From The Dermatologist press release:

"HMP Global, a leader in healthcare events and education, announced today that its industry-leading publication, The Dermatologist®, has formed a collaborative partnership with George Washington School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Department of Dermatology, in Washington, DC (“Department”). Through this partnership, The Dermatologist and the Department will offer educational content for residents in dermatology.

Representing the Department is Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD, interim chair of the department of dermatology and director of the dermatology residency program at George Washington School of Medicine. His insights as both director of one of the nation’s top residency programs and a key researcher in dermatology will guide content topics.

Among the new resources available is Residency Review multimedia series. Through podcasts and videos, dermatology residents and medical students interested in the specialty can learn about timely topics from experts in the field. The first piece offered is a five-part video series titled “Changes to the Step 1 Scoring System and Impact on Dermatology Residents,” featuring Dr. Friedman; Ilana Rosman, MD, residency program director, director of the Dermatopathology Center, and associate professor of dermatology and pathology at Washington School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO; and Kamaria Nelson, MD, research fellow and incoming resident with the department of dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine.

“Having Dr. Adam Friedman’s contribution is exciting,” said Steven R. Feldman, MD, PhD, chief medical editor of The Dermatologist. “He brings tremendous experience and enthusiasm for dermatology education. His expertise in this area will be a big help to those interested in the rapid changes going on in dermatology residency training.”

“We are excited to partner with such a well-known and established resource in the dermatology community to expand upon our educational goals and reach,” said Dr. Friedman. We aim to provide content through the broad array of The Dermatologist’s digital vehicles that cover the gamut of dermatology, from pemphigus to professionalism so to speak.”
