In a recent interview with Dermatology Times, Jonathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH, professor of dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, discussed the significance of the upcoming Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis (RAD) 2025 conference. Highlighting the rapid advancements in the field, Silverberg emphasized how "given how rapidly atopic dermatitis is evolving," it can be difficult for busy practitioners to stay current simply through reading scattered journal articles.
He explained that the field has recently seen a surge in new therapies—ranging from topicals and orals to biologics—and expanded understanding of disease epidemiology, phenotyping, and severity assessment. With even more treatments in the pipeline, he noted, "it's a lot, and it's hard for the busy practitioner to keep up with all of this." Click here to listen to the full interview.
